This 2-day program covers defensive driving techniques, new traffic laws & rules of the road. Teaches how to deal with aggressive drivers, reduce traffic violations, and more! There are no tests…just sign up and learn!

Materials fee collected first day of class…$15 AARP members; $20 nonmembers.

Career-Choices

Thinking about changing careers? Take the online Highlands Ability Battery test on your own at home (cost $120 for the 3 hour test).

In a group setting at the library, on your laptop or ipad** go over your profile of natural abilities and learn how they fit into career paths that are right for you!

*Registration required by March 31. Must take the Highlands Ability Battery test by April 5 to attend this program. Call the library at (309) 243-5716 to reserve your spot.

**Please let us know if you will need to use a library laptop to view your results…limited quantities available.

Maker Monday: Every Monday 4:00 – 7:00 pm

LEGO Club joins Maker Monday on March 13 at 4:00 Work by yourself of in teams to meet the monthly challenge! Learn about all things Maker Space!  Every Monday our sewing machines, embroidery machine, MaKey MaKey kits, and Mario Maker will be available to use.  Discover the 3D printer and create on TinkerCAD. Open to all ages!!!
