“This exhibit documents and illustrates critical figures and events while tracing the evolving concept of freedom in the United States from the country’s founding through 1968. Among the highlights are a rare 1776 printing of the Declaration of Independence, a printed draft and the official copy of the US Constitution, Lincoln’s handwritten notes for speeches, and letters by leading figures such as Frederick Douglass, Susan B. Anthony, and Martin Luther King Jr.” – The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History

We are meeting in-person this month and we’ll have the Zoom Room open! Get out your loom, wind a warp, work on a project. Gather with other weaving folk via Zoom. If you don’t know what all of this means, join us and we’ll show you how we creatively use up our yarn stash.  Email mweyeneth@dunlaplibrary.org to receive the Zoom registration meeting invite to attend!
