We are starting a new club centered around coding for kids! The library is partnering with Prenda.co to provide an easy to use to use database to help children learn to code. Every month kids can code together while learning at their own pace. For children ages 8 and up. Please bring your own laptop if possible, we have a limited number available at the library for use.
Do you need service hours? Here is your chance to get them! The library is hosting a volunteer event on the 3rd Saturday of every month for our teenage patrons. Come for as little or as long as you like and help us get ready for the following month while you rack up some needed service hours!
Help decide what teen programs are offered at the library! Grades 7-12 Come to our monthly meeting to talk about what YOU would like to do at the library. Get involved in putting on programs, organizing service projects, talking about books, meeting excellent study buddies, and of course, eating lots of snacks!! P.S. If you need service hours this is a great opportunity!
Be a part of our new quarterly book club! Tell us everything you love and hate about that book to movie conversion! We will watch the film and then have a discussion to compare and contrast the movie vs. book. Feel free to bring a snack! October title: A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness
