Welcome to the 2nd Annual Read, Eat, Play Library Road Trip!

We are excited for you to start your journey. We know you will have a great time exploring many of the 33 participating libraries as well as eateries, shops and parks to be discovered along the way!

Please pick up a Road Trip Passport booklet at the ciruclation desk. To complete your Road Trip and be entered into a prize drawing, collect stickers or stamps from your home library (the library that issued your library card) and at least 9 others for a total of 10 different libraries between May 27th and August 29th. When visiting any library please be sure to take the Passport booklet to the main circulation desk to receive your sticker or stamp. If a library you visit doesn’t have a page in the Passport booklet, no worries.  Just have them stamp in the “Bonus Stamps!”area inside the back cover.

Don’t forget to return to your home library and drop off your Passport booklet by September 5th to get entered into their prize drawing!

Remember, you can use your library card to check out items from any of the libraries you visit. When you are done with the items you’ve checked out, you can return them to any library in this passport and RAILS will deliver them to the appropriate library for you. This fantastic service also lets you request a book from any library and have it sent to your home library for pick up! Just ask at any library’s circulation desk for details.

Each participating Road Trip library has a page in this Passport with its address and operating hours listed. Each library page will also have information about local eateries, parks and attractions. Please be sure to double check business websites and social media for more information and to verify a location’s hours when planning your trip.
