The Friends of the Dunlap Public Library are celebrating National Friends of Libraries Week in October with a special all-ages event, Meet an Owl! Paint a Metal Owl!

At this fun event, learn about owls from Fractured Feathers Wildlife Rehab and paint a metal owl created for this event by central Illinois plasma cutter artist Dan Frohberg.

Two sessions are available, 6-7 pm  and 7-8 pm. The cost is $5 per person, which includes all the supplies. Class size is limited. Due to the time needed for the plasma cutting, we recommend you register by October 11 for your preferred time.
