Join us for this Offsite Adventure as we meet at the Pettengill-Morron home (1212 W. Moss Avenue in Peoria) to tour this Second Empire-style house that was built in 1868 for hardware merchant Moses Pettengill.
The tour will be led by a docent of the Peoria Historical Society. The home was completely renovated in 1945 and now showcases a fine collection of objects owned by its last owner, Jean Morron—including mid-18th century furnishings, artwork, artifacts and textiles—as well as earlier items belonging to the Pettengill family.
The house will be decorated for the holidays per the time period. Program size is limited and spots will go quickly. Advanced registration is required for this program. Cost is $5 (cash or check) per person payable at the library when you register. Must register in person at the library. Ages 18+ Sponsored by the Friends of the Dunlap Public Library.
